Champagne at Sainsburys 90% OFF!!! at Thornhill, Cardiff

Just purchased an organic bottle of champagne at my local sainsburys, its called Fleur d l europe, original price £19.49 price at till £1.94!!
Going to use it for me bucks fizz!!!

Where abouts in any shop are these 90% off items located?

I've never seen them - are they left on their original/individual shelves, or are all the '90% off' items placed together on a combined shelf somewhere ?

unfortunately, mikeboy, it can be both - it really just depends on the individual store and there seems to be no consistency to either availability of the offers or the location of them. Each store manager seems able to decide what and when and if to mark things down

Hi Mikeyboy, the champagne was on the normal shelving at normal price, but there was a red sign in front of it saying 90% off this item.

Unfortunately not a blanket reduction - checked in Milton Keynes store and shelf price the full £19.xx and price check at till still the full £19.xx. Sigh....
