Loan eligibility calculator - Confusing!
Hi there, I need an opinion with the following please.....Within the next few weeks, I am replacing my car & will therefore be applying for a loan. I have a very good credit rating, a full-time job, not huge outgoings but the calculator on this site only brings up 6 results & only one of the says 100% eligible @ 19.5% APR. All the other five state 0% eligible.
I want to know if other people have found this calculator 'mis-leading' in anyway.
I have been on to independent lenders calculators & have got a much better result (Tesco being the best). It is only for £5,000 so not huge amounts!

None of the checkers are particularly reliable, but act as a rough guide.
It also depends which lenders choose to pay to be part of which eligibility checkers and how they choose to price applicants through each of those channels.0
