Hi
I've a couple of loans with Creation for SCS purchases, but since the end or May I (like many others it seems) have been having problems accessing my accounts online so I am unable to check my statements. I've jumped through their hoops to check my account, but it's definitely an issue with their systems.
So I am wondering if/what legal requirement they may have to provide me with access to statements. They don't send out paper statements which is fine when you have access through the net, but when this is broken for so long are they required to start sending these out?
I know that a lot of people have issues with Creation (they have a very bad rating in TrustPilot) but I know my DD's have been going out fine each month so I'm not too concerned at the moment, I would just like to make sure they don't think there's been any issues without having to phone them every month.
Thanks
Matt

A loan account - I'm pretty sure that as a minimum they have to send you a statement every 12 months. Technically you have access to them within the last year so they have broken no rules.
Please do not be tempted to cancel your payments ''to show them'' as this will have dire consequences for your credit files.0 -
Thanks @jonesMUFCforever, that would make sense, hopefully this farce isn't going to go on for a whole year...
And no danger of me cancelling anything until I know I've paid them - I'm not willing to screw up my credit file for this1 -
Write to them and ask for an upto date statement.0
