solicitor enquiries week 5

I'm buying a leasehold.
Put in application 23rd March, went on hold due to covid.
Finally had my mortgage offer 5 weeks ago, 3 weeks after survey.
Paid for searches in March, they came back June, so that's all fine.
Now we im waiting for solicitors enquiries, how do I get them to chase? Everytime I ask I just get 'we are waiting for the sellers solicitors'
Getting quite nervous now and losing all hope it will ever happen.
Theres no chain and its empty, so feels like my lifes still on hold until it happens.

Contact the estate agent as they will prompt the seller and their solicitors.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0

Just phoned again and apparently the solicitors sent back the enquiries 3 weeks ago but mines saying they have not recieved them. nightmare, so hopefully they now can sort this miscommunication out. No its not a probate as far as I'm aware.
