How much time do you expect your mortgage advisor to spend on your case?

Hi,
We are first time buyers so obviously we do not have experience of what the 'norm' is.
How much time/how often do you expect your mortgage advisor to contact you/work or push for your application?

Our situation -
MIP - agreed 9th June
Application put in - 15th June
Valuation booked for 18th June (estate agent has confirmed they attended).

Fast forward past a couple of issues with affordability due to an overtime complication (it took the Mortgage advisor a week to tell us that's why It was being held up after being emailed by me every 3 days.) which were sorted with additional wage slips and a p60 we were told we were approved subject to valuation and the valuation was requested on the 13th July. They are adamant they haven't already done a valuation for some reason but I can't get any clarities apparently because the Mortgage advisor cannot get clarity she says.

Lender - Accord (broker only so no way for us to chase them/contact them).

So we are currently still waiting over a month later from application time. As stated above, we are now at the point where our Mortgage is approved subject to valuation - however on the 13th July the lender said they were putting in for the valuation to be done. Was given an update that they confirmed they'd requested the valuation again on Friday (17th July) and that some time was booked in to chase it today. After emailing about 3pm today I got an email back saying she would ring them as we hadn't heard anything and I have just got off the phone after having to ring her this evening. She stated that she tried to ring but had to put the phone down after 20 mins on hold as she had another client and will try to ring again tomorrow...

Am I being unreasonable to be beginning to get frustrated with the lack of clarity/effort to get this resolved? Obviously we cannot ring ourselves to try and push it through as Accord are broker only. In my mind if I was in her position I would be pushing to get this through as fast as possible for my client (obviously I have no idea how the system works and have no experience of anyone else).

If people agree I'm not being unreasonable is the best course of action to tell the mortgage advisor that we need this pushing through and she needs to tell them she's staying on the phone until there is at least some clarity as to what is going on?

All lenders are severely delayed at the moment. TSB for example are today working on documents from the 1st July
I think Accord are at about 5 working days so when was the valuation done?

They booked a valuation for the 18th June, the estate agent has confirmed he let them into the house to carry this out. They are saying they had suspended the valuation even though they did attend (our mortgage advisor can't help us with what this means as it could mean either they didn't produce the report or they're trying to say they didn't attend).

The underwriter then confirmed that they had resubmitted the request for a valuation on the 13th July. but the estate agent hasn't had anyone book a valuation or anything up to closing time today so we have no idea what is going on.

"Chasing" doesn't unfortunately speed matters up all to often. If everybody spent their time doing so little productive work would get done. These are unusual and challenging times.  With many organisations working well below capacity.
