Some threads on here never cease to amaze me. Of course there isn't.1

You just need to cross out the name of the product on the voucher and write in the name of something you have in your basket using a red crayon. Most supermarkets accept these amendments0

To be fair, Tesco was the go to shop for giving in money off vouchers when not buying the product. That was quite a few years ago but the money we saved....!Saving money right, left and centre1

It used to be possible (and widely used) in various supermarkets in the past, but gradually they all stopped.2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

I think Tesco was the last to stop accepting them, but I’m pretty sure most of the ‘big 4’ (at the time) did it too, although they didn’t all advertise it 😉2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

In any case, even if the voucher did say "50p off Heinz Tomato Ketchup in Asda", surely Tesco only honoured it back in the day if you actually bought the product?0 -
My guess would be that if they stocked that product; they would accept it since they just passed them on to the manufacturer irrespective of whether you had bought it. As long as the number of coupons being redeemed didn't look excessive as a proportion of actual sales, how would the manufacturer know?I need to think of something new here...1
