Decent non-flaky eye shadow?

Anyone recommend anything please? I’m fed up spending money (MAC, YSL, Green People) on trying to find one that doesn’t end up on my cheek when applying it!

How are you applying it?Type of brush?Do you tap the brush with eyeshadow on it on the back of your hand before applying?Folding a tissue and holding under your eye as you apply. One hand for the tissue the other for holding brush and applying.Never had this problem with any eyeshadow.0

I’ve got a couple of suggestions.Firstly, you could try an eyeshadow primer. Urban decay do a brilliant one. Their eyeshadow palettes are also excellent and I don’t get any fallout from them.Secondly, apply eyeshadow before foundation etc so that if there is any fallout it is easy to wipe away.I also agree with Donnac that you should tap your brush first to get rid of any excess.1

Apart from a primer, my favourite budge proof eyeshadow is Smashbox.0

Have you tried a creme shadow, rather than powder? They're not hugely common across ranges, and you don't always get the same range of shades... but Maybelline do a few - "on and on bronze" is probably my favourite shade, and basically a dupe for the significantly more expensive Tom Ford Platinum.

Sounds like you need a good primer. Urban Decay are great for primers & eyeshadow.
Otherwise perhaps try a cream shadow. Glossier ones are good.0 -
Perhaps the way you apply causing the issue, try above suggestions or try and eyeshadow stick
