New to bankruptcy

Options
Hi all, I applied for bankruptcy 02nd July and this was accepted 06th July (Lost my job like many others due to pandemic). I received my email with my bankruptcy order and letter attached. Still as of today I have not heard from OR, I emailed Croydon and received an email from one of the team to say they will be in touch in due course. I have informed all of my creditors who all seemed pretty nice and was a fairly easy process I also opened a new bank account and arranged for my final salary to be paid into this. My question is...given the current climate does anybody know long the call from the OR is taking?

Hi just wait it out now.
Did you open a basic bank account?
They are sometimes frozen for a short while so make sure you have enough cash to see you over.
If your account is frozen then contact your OR if it's a basic account they will have no interest in it and they will contact your bank....otherwise just sit tight and wait.
If any creditors contact you for payment..give them your BR no.

Hi there, I'm new to bankruptcy and the forum. I made my application on 10th July, it was approved on 13th and I recieved  my first phonecard from the OR on 14th! 2nd phonecall on 15th and all paperwork emailed to me on 16th.

I can't believe how quick the process is!

Please don't worry different offices will have a different work load.
Mine needed 2 years bank statements and 1 years credit card statements.
They will be in touch just try to relax...easier said than done!

To be honest with you I didn't until I was discharged...no IPA.
It was the only thing I could do but the best decision I made.
    Good luck

Hi - Yes. A lady called from the OR Office and went through my income and expenditure form over the phone making any adjustments and then gave me an IPA amount. I've sent all forms back and havent heard anything since. Like the above post said, different things take different amounts of time. Also, I havent had to supply any information other than what I gave during the initial application.
