Self Employed Help....How are expenses paid back?
Comments
-
I'm sorry you find it so confusing. No one 'claims back' their self employed expenses, whether they are earning £1,000 or £100,000. Expenses are simply deducted from gross earnings to calculate your net profit which is used to calculate how much tax and NI you pay (if any) and your entitlement to any means tested benefits.
You should claim Universal Credit. If your profit is low then you'll get a good top up, depending on whether you have a partner (and their earnings) or kids.0 -
Lots of help here: https://www.gov.uk/browse/business/setting-upGoogling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0
