Using credit card- will it effect remortgage?

to keep it short and simple,

Currently remortgaging, previously both me and my partner worked however she has now been laid off so everything depends on my earnings alone.

I took out a 0% virgin card about 4 months ago with the sole purpose of putting my wedding on it - approx 6000.00 with a limit of 7200.00.

I already have 2500.00 on there fir the first payment however I'm concerned if I'm seen to be racking up credit it may effect my mortgage? Should I put the remaining 3500 on the credit card or just pay it off by direct debit?

I have enough money to easily pay the costs, I was simply putting it on a 0% card because I wanted to earn intrest on it and frankly its better off in my bank rather than theirs ?

TIA

I wouldn't add it to the credit card, especially as you are relying on one wage for the remortgage. Lenders are being quite strict with criteria, it's just not worth the risk.
