Following on from this thread I created - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6168765/natwest-self-employed#latest
So I have little confidence with Natwest due to the time they are taking and the very little progress made. Is it worthwhile applying with a different lender now? That way I will have two applications in parallel and hopefully one of them will be successful.

No, do not start another application until you know the outcome of this one. It could spook NW and also that could spook the new lender.
You are self-employed, these applications are taking ages due to the current climate, as seen with other S/E people posting.
