    Nope - a few days maybe - weeks / months if you've got time. Should be fine. I've left mine till a couple of days before Christmas before and made sure that it had crandy (or whatever) in it when cooking.

    you're welcome! You're on your own there. The only recipe i have has booze in it... but its all added before cooking, i think most of the booze would boil off during cooking, so it should be safe to eat. If you want to check it out anyway its here. otherwise... i'm lost. It seems almost sacrosanct, a xmas pud must have booze!! i don't know if any of these will help?

  • if it is a pery, then you can make something like a cake, and something funny too you can buy

    My nanna used to make a christmas pudding that had carrots,potato, breadcrumbs and milk stout in i will look it out if anyone is interested.
    So yummy as well.
