Restore the floor innova pants

I have a faulty pair of innova pants that were a replacement in may 2020 for a pair that were also  faulty purchased  a  year ago. Tel today as  they are  giving  me electric shocks and was told they were out of warranty (only 2 months old) as warranty is 6 month’s from original purchase date. Doesn’t make sense to me as the  warranty IS  NOT  FOR 6 MONTHS ON  REPLACED  NEW  PAIR. I  would appreciate  any  other people with  same problem as  going  to  tradings standards to complain

Warranty is from the  date  of the original purchase not the date of a replacement. There is not a new warranty period for a replacement.
A warranty is supplied by the manufacturer.
You may have a claim of 'not fit for purpose' under the Sale of Goods Act , which would be against the retailer you bought them from.
