We bake a lot of bread and store in the freezer in plastic bags. We then reuse the bags after washing and air drying them. We are not entirely happy that this is completely safe from bacteria. Has anyone any suggestions for freezer storage of bread to ensure no freezer burn?

It takes longer to dry as you have to dry Inside out and then the right way. Has anyone tried freezing bread in any other packaging?0

Wow - it's never occurred to me!I bake bread and always freeze half the loaf. The plastic bag used get shoved in a drawer and re-used next time I bake. Just gets a good shake to clear out the crumbs.I'm still alive......!1
