Doesn't cost £800 to replace a turbo. Suggest you find someone else to give you a quote. A reconditioned turbo is £200 or so, used ones are sub £100. It's an hour or two labour to change it plus the cost of a few gaskets. I'd be wanting plenty of change out of £500 and even £400.

I was actually agreeing with your analogy of £800 to repair a turbo, no need for the did I 'bother' to read original post but looking at some of your replies you seem to enjoy berating people and telling them how 'wrong' they are, take your replies to the people who have fallen foul of Amigo guarantor loans recently, it actually says more about YOU than them!

By the way did you find any cash loans at 0% APR, you know the ones that DFS, SCS offer or where YOU WRONG on that one?

You mean the people who knowingly took out loans they knew they couldn't afford but blamed everyone else for the fact that they did that and that the lender wanted their money back? Or the people who were stupid enough to act as their guarantor then were surprised when their friend didn't pay and the lender held them to the contract they signed?
DFS, SCS don't offer cash loans at 0%.

Another judgmental post I see, you know for a fact do you  that the people who have posted on here regarding guarantor loans KNOWINGLY took those loans out with no intention of repaying?? , KNEW they couldn't afford them and the people who acted as guarantors are all STUPID?

Get off your high horse and try to understand that anyone can find themselves in financial difficulties if their circumstances change especially with the current pandemic. People come here for help and advice NOT to be judged and called stupid.
