Debt collectors

Options
Hi, I have had a couple of my debts bought by debt collection agencys, do I list them or the original creditor on the be form?
Also there's one of my debts I can't find paperwork or emails for so I don't know the account number, do I need to put this on the form?

I would list both (so as an example "Barclays Partner Finance (debt bought by Lowells)".  No harm in being over-specific.
And to the latter: yes that is fine. At some point you no doubt would get a new email or letter from them anyway once payments are missed.

If you're sure the new company is the owner, then they are the creditor that you list. Sometimes it's hard to work out if you're dealing with a debt buyer (like Lowell) or a collector (like Moorcroft).

Put as much info about unknown debts as you know so - creditor,  estimated balance. On  the bankruptcy application it won't let you write 'not known' for the reference but will let you leave it blank

Thanks, it's a loan from Santander in 2016, I know the last 4 digits of the agreement number but that's it, all I've had email wise from them was the original confirmation email back in 2016 and trying to get them on the phone is like pulling teeth....I'll just explain on the forms tonight when I do it👍
