If you click on your profile picture at top of page - then edit profile, there should be a box on page to untick called 'display skimlinks'

hopefully this will work as i did mine a while ago when one of the other posters told me how to do it.

Thanks bluesooz, but I've searched  my profile and loads of other places and there's no mention of skimlinks at all - unless I'm going mad!  I've had no humming birds at all.

I just checked mine and I clicked on profile Then edit profile and unticked it. Hope this helps.
