Newchic UK clothes alternatives

Hi All,
Many of you may be familiar with the Newchic adverts that appear in some websites.
I find their clothes, in the advers, really pretty and would like to buy some for myself. However, having read the reviews for this site, I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.
I have tried to find similar clothes from UK outlets, such as amazon, but I will admit I'm not an expert fashion shopper (which I know it is a crime in this site) and I wouldn't even know where to start to find clothes similar to the ones sold in Newchic. Does anyone know where does Newchic find their inspirations? Read, who are they copying. Also, can I find them in the UK.
