How to Enter
Solve the six clues per week printed in the Daily Mail between July 11-17, 2020, July 18-24, 2020, July 25-31, 2020 and August 1-7, 2020 (all excluding The Mail on Sunday). The answers to the clues will be tourist attractions, sporting venues, stately home and cathedral cities in Great Britain. When you have cracked each week’s six clues, enter them in the provided grid which will create an anagram using the highlighted boxes. Unscramble the anagram to reveal a seventh two-word answer. Send this answer, along with your name and phone number, by phone, by text or by email. Competition lines are open on Friday, July, 17, 24, 31 and August 7 between 6am and 10pm. By entering, you will also be entered into a final draw to win £10,00
Conditions of entry1. This promotion (each, a “Prize Draw” and together, the "Promotion") is only open to UK residents (excluding Northern Ireland and Isle of Man), and excludes employees and agents of (a) the Promoter or (b) any company connected with the production or distribution of this Promotion, as well as their relatives or members of their family or household.
2. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over at the time of entry. Proof of eligibility must be provided upon request. By entering the Promotion entrants are deemed to accept and be bound by these terms and conditions.
3. Entrants must send their answer (the solution to the anagram) and contact details via phone, text or email.
4. The Promotion is free to enter via email, or costs £1 per text or £1 by a premium rate phone call.
5. You may enter by phone or text as many times as you wish, but only one free entry will be accepted via email.
6. The Promotion will run from Saturday, July 11 until Friday, August 7, 2020 (the “Promotion Period”). There is one weekly competition for the first three weeks, and two competitions in the third.
Prizes
7. There are four weekly competitions for one person to win a £10,000 cheque. Plus, at the end of the fourth week, all qualifying entries will each count as entries into an overall prize draw for one person to win a £10,000 cheque. Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries, held before 9am on the proceeding Saturday. The Promoter shall notify the first winner that they have won the £10,000 prize (or the additional £10,000 prize on August 8, 2020) by phone call between 9am and 11am that day. The Promoter shall attempt to call the winner three times on the telephone number provided by the winner. Failure by the winner to receive the call and accept the prize will make their claim invalid and the Promoter will then select another winner of the prize.
8. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable.
9. The name and county of the prize winner of a Prize Draw will be revealed in the Daily Mail on the Monday after the respective Prize Draw.
10. Entrants agree to provide reasonable cooperation to allow the Promoter to visit them at their home or at another location agreed between the Promoter and the Prize Draw winner on the Sunday after the Prize Draw winner has been notified that he/she has won the prize (i.e. the next day) and be photographed for advertising and publicity purposes in connection with this Promotion. This includes, but is not limited to, publication of the winner's name and photograph on the Promoter’s websites and newspapers.
General
11. The determination and decision of the Promoter on all matters shall be final and no promotional correspondence or discussion will be entered into. The Promoter reserves the right in its reasonable discretion: (a) to disqualify any claimant, competitor or nominee whose conduct is contrary to the spirit of the rules or the intention of the promotion and to declare as void any or all of their claims or entries based on such conduct; (b) to declare as void any claims or entries resulting from any printing, production and/or distribution errors (including but not limited to any error(s) on any website of the Promoter, any game cards and/or other printed materials) or where there has been error(s) in any aspect of the preparation for or conduct of the promotion materially affecting the result of the promotion or the number of claimants or the value of claims; (c) to add to or to waive any rules on reasonable notice; and/or (d) to cancel the promotion or any part of it at any stage in the event of circumstances beyond the Promoter's reasonable control.
12. No entries will be accepted in bulk, from agents or third parties.
13. To the fullest extent permitted by law (and subject to paragraph 15 below), the Promoter hereby excludes all warranties, representations, covenants and liabilities (whether express or implied) relating to this Promotion and/or the prize.
14. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude the Promoter's liability for: (i) death or personal injury as a result of its negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
15. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend or cancel the Promotion should virus, bugs, tampering, fraud or other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter corrupt or hinder the administration, security or proper play of the Promotion.
16. If any of the provisions of these terms and conditions are held to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part that part shall be severed from the remainder of the provisions and the validity of the other provisions and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected.

I'd prefer not to buy the Daily Mail if I can help it. But if I HAVE to buy it to enter for a prize this big, I'm prepared to chuck my bleeding heart socialist morals out of the window for a week. I can't see anything in the rules that say you need proof of purchase. Have I missed that bit somewhere? Or can we enter for free?
