Hi
I have sent out three CCA requests so far. My other accounts are 5/6 years old and still with the original creditors so I have not bothered sending CCA requests so far.
if the ones I have sent out come back has unenforceable have Stepchange been okay about this or have you faced issues?
any advice would be great thanks

Stepchange do not recognise an account as enforcable or unenforcable, they would see a debt in your name which requires repayment, that is their modus operandi. They are part funded by the creditors you see, so they tend to sacrifice a little impartiality in the process because of this.Should you subsequently discover any of your accounts are unenforcable, then its up to you to withdraw that account from your debt management plan, and cease all payment to it.You are the client, they act for you, you are in charge of who and what you pay, so you just tell them what you want them to do.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
