Barclays Springboard Mortgage

Hi all, after some advice about the Barclays Springboard Mortgage for anyone who has had any dealings. Not a huge amount of info around. We have had an offer accepted by father in law has suddenly changed his position from gifting us a 10% mortgage to wanting to use this type of mortgage. It would be 100%. 
Would there be any point in having a broker engaged if the product is already selected? Are they especially 'picky'? How smooth was the process?

Well you have already picked the lender and type of mortgage so can't see how a broker will help ?
The nice mortgage broker at Barclays will I am sure want to talk about, house buildings and contents insurance. Think comparison websites,
Maybe life assurance and critical illness policy etc.
Shop round as you can save alot of money Very MSE !
What rates are you looking at ?
Do you have a deposit ?
We are with Barclays but it's an offset mortgage
