Preference payment

Morning everyone 
Just a quick question about preference payment parents got letter saying they have to pay it back which isn't a problem as they don't have Internet banking they are sending me the cheque to pay it  my question is can the or check my parents account they are worried that the or will search their accounts and want to see statements  not sure why (think its an age thing ) but just wanted to put there mind at rest

There not going bankrupt I made a preference payment to rhem before I went bankrupt and they've been asked to pay it back which isn't a problem they are worried that the or will want to look at their accounts because I am making the payment for them they are sending me a cheque for the amount which I  have to take a pic of  to prove they are paying the  money back

Can't they pay the OR directly?

Because they don't have Internet banking and because insolvency are working from home they have sent me the link to pay it as no one in office to deal with it

No they won't do that. It's you and your conduct that they are looking at.

They can ask to look at your statements and query things but as far as your mum and dad are concerned the OR just wants the payment back that they have asked for.

That should be the end of things as far as they are concerned.

Just bank their cheque and pay the OR yourself. As long as it matches up to the amount they are expecting they aren't going to care about (or have the resource to care about) who's account it has been paid in from.
