Small claims landlord vs guarantor and tenant

Does anyone have experience or success reclaiming outstanding rental payment by suing the guarantor via money claims online without solicitor help. (Tenant and guarantor have refused my endless attempt to engage with them to get back my money)
Just read the guide on here and I think I won’t need a lawyer after all for this as it looks straightforward.

Have you looked at Landlord Law or considered joining the RLA /ARLA1

Your landlords association should advise, but it's basically straight-forward.Make sure you have very clear rent schedule detailing all rent payments received /owing each month with a running balance. Ideally supported by your bank statement showing receipts (ad gaps).Otherwise there's a risk the hearing degenerates into an unprovable arguement about how much the tenant actually paid/owes....1

Name the tenant as first defendant and the guarantor as second defendant. That way you get money out of one of them, in theory, if you win.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0
