Hi, I have extensive sales experience in IT/Cyber Security. I was made redundant, so I decided on an Industry change. I have passed my CeMAP Level 3 but now need CAS. Please can anyone provide advice or point me to the right companies, forums etc. that could help?

@LexDakis From what I understand, you will need to start somewhere as a trainee mortgage adviser to get CAS status. It isn't a certification as such and needs to be gained through experience, your calls/advice being monitored, etc etc. You could start out by looking for trainee broking roles in your area.

Im not sure you are going to find any trainee broker roles in the current climate, but you could look for banks/building societies and then maybe the recruitment pages on linkedin/brokers pages?
If you have ways to generate your own customers, you may be able to work under a small broker for a cut of any income but you can expect to lose maybe 40-50% until you have CAS which would then come down to around 25%.
Getting that first step is the hardest.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
