Be careful the universal credit claim is "correct". Certainly do not want that potential nightmare if going for a teachers job.2

Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
First brave step taken - listing the position. Second brave step required - get partner to take direct responsiblity for the plan to deal with debt (ie posts on relevant forum etc.). Don't do it on her behalf. You sound helpful and caring - make sure partner takes responsbility and you give support, if required. Otherwise, its someone else fixing the debt issues for them...rgds,
