Hi
I have resigned from my job and given the correct notice however i had a response saying the company were not in a position tonaccept my resignation.
This was last week
I have been removed from all work email, systems and have computers in a box but i was tols the employer would be in touch
I have sent another email yestersay but still.no.response
I am waiting to start a new job and wonder where i srand
I am in process of devising an email to be sent tomorrow as a last resort
My last official day is end of month but with having no guidance or no feedback i am left sitting in my house every day with nothing to do and cannot give my new empliyer a start date
I know they have to legally pay me.for.my notice wether i work.it or.not and dont know how they can say not on a position to accept my resignation

Slavery is illegal - you have resigned and will be free to start new employment by the end of the month at the latest.
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

They can't not accept your resignation. So if you've resigned you are free to go at the end of your notice period. If that's a problem for them they should have specified longer notice - their problem though, not yours.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. I know this but the fact they are not responding to me with what to do has left me doing nithing for 3 days0

I have sent 3 emails asking what is required of me been switched off from work email and whats app groups0

Write to them stating that you handed in your notice and your employment will end on X date in accordance with your contract of employment. As said, they cannot refuse to accept your resignation. The only exception I'm aware of is the armed forces.

If they don't want you to work and have access to work data thats fine but they still have to pay your notice."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0

Just make sure you have a record of when you sent the resignation in. Then leave at your end date.

So you can give your new employer a start date - as soon as the day after your termination date. Is that acceptable to them?
They have removed you from all work systems but you have some of their equipment at home. If they have not contacted you about the computers which are boxed up, you can tell them to contact you to arrange for them to collect their equipment at a time convenient to you. They could ask you to deliver it - during your employment.
You presumably gave them the notice required to be given by your contract. Were they required to give you less notice? How long have you worked for them?
