Slavery is illegal - you have resigned and will be free to start new employment by the end of the month at the latest.

They can't not accept your resignation. So if you've resigned you are free to go at the end of your notice period. If that's a problem for them they should have specified longer notice - their problem though, not yours.

Write to them stating that you handed in your notice and your employment will end on X date in accordance with your contract of employment.  As said, they cannot refuse to accept your resignation.  The only exception I'm aware of is the armed forces.

If they don't want you to work and have access to work data thats fine but they still have to pay your notice.

And what is your problem?  If they don't want you to do anything they don't have to give you work to do.

Gives you time for extra prep for your new job.

Just make sure you have a record of when you sent the resignation in. Then leave at your end date.

As others have said, they can't not accept your resignation.  If you gave it in writing in accordance with your contract of employment, your employment is terminated at the expiry of your notice period.

So you can give your new employer a start date - as soon as the day after your termination date.  Is that acceptable to them?

They have removed you from all work systems but you have some of their equipment at home.  If they have not contacted you about the computers which are boxed up, you can tell them to contact you to arrange for them to collect their equipment at a time convenient to you.  They could ask you to deliver it - during your employment.

You presumably gave them the notice required to be given by your contract.  Were they required to give you less notice?  How long have you worked for them?
