  • I am paying in instalments to apply for bankruptcy, just wondering if I should get my universal credit and wages paid into a relative's account before I submit it. I am worried that Monzo will close my account and then my essential Bill's won't get paid.

    Jayney99  :  I think you should have started a new thread. But NO don't use anyone else's account for anything. That will only cause more trouble, the last thing you want.

    So open another account then, Starling can be opened easy enough.

    You are allowed a basic bank account..Barclays..Co op...Nationwide all get good reports on here. 
    Make sure you have some cash to tide you over for a couple of days. 
    The OR will contact you within a couple of days to discuss your day to day account

    Monzo is bankruptcy friendly, you should have no problems, next time please start a new thread.
