From www.hqhair.com and use the code found here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=32285&highlight=hqhair for free P&P some cashback referral sites (e.g. GreasyPalm) will give some cash back too, think the 10% codes has been removed though due to source not being stated.

Done what yet? Traded in a pair? Or ordered from HQHair, plenty of people have done the latter.

GP is GreasyPalm www.greasypalm.co.uk which is a cashback referral site that gives you a percentage of your purchase back, try this thread for discount codes: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=32285&highlight=hqhair

  • I had my hair coloured in local salon (GHD stockists and sell straighteners) and I enquired (along with a printed off version of the £20 trade in voucher (not that you should need it) but they said that the GHD rep had not mentioned it and they wouldn't do it?!?!

I will try and find a telephone number for GHD head office and enquire about this further as I do need a new pair and this is an ideal offer..certainly won't be buying if they honour this in a local shop...

But if you do what I've recommended above you will get them cheaper than your hairdressers and you could keep your old one's as spares or sell them on eBay for a couple of squid.

Just traded in my old babyliss crimpers (i`m not ashamed to mention i actually owned crimpers ! LoL) at my local salon.

So Got new GHD`s for £79.

I preferred to buy from a salon, incase of them going faulty, then I have someone to shout out !! LoL

As soon as the offer was released, at time of first post, I phoned a few of my local salons, who didn`t have a clue what I was talking about. I phoned them again this morning and nearly all were doing the offer (except regis). So give them time, as they may not have spoken to there reps. !!

very chuffed with my new GHDS !! woo hoo !!

  • I got my pair for under £80 from Amazon so they are always worth a look, but for those of you whose GHD's are broken, DO NOT go out and buy a new pair!!! You need to get in touch with Jemella Ltd who make them, you can get the number from the GHD website it is something like ghdhair.co.uk (but you should probably google that) then send them back it is very unlikely that even if they are not within the warranty period they will not replace them (but obviously dont tell them it has expired) 9/10 times this will work. Probably best to send them without the box though as the packaging has had several changes over the last few years. If they will not replace them free of charge they will reduce them for a much better price than buying a brand new pair. If they do try and charge you, kick up a fuss and as a gesture of goodwill it is very possible they will reduce the costs.
