Maintenance loan

in Loans
I am considering becoming a full time student in my local college. I have been trying to find a student maintenance loan calculator to see if I qualify for loans or grants but cannot find anything. Maybe someone knows a link?
My personal circumstances are I own my own home outright, my live in partner earns £24000 per year, she doesn't pay rent but contributes to household expenses. I am not working and in receipt of carers credit as I am a carer for my mother. I will be 56yrs old at start of course. I don't think I will ever go over the wage when I will ever have to pay it back before my retirement age. Can anyone help? I'm confused 🙂

You don't say what kind of course it is.
If you become a full time student will you also remain a carer for mum?0 -
This may help https://www.ucas.com/student-finance-england/living-costs-full-time-students
And you might have to check about benefits re: carers allowance. Don't get caught out by claiming something you may not be entitled to. If you need more help, someone at the college you want to attend will have ALL the information, financial as well as academic. Contact them. Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts.
