Caricature pictures

Would you be offended if someone gave you a caricature picture of yourself for christmas?

This was an idea that my oh had for a pressie for my 20 yr old son and I'm not too sure.

What does anyone think?
I personally would feel awful (but then I've got very little self asteam and hate having my photo taken etc)

I suppose it depends on if you have a sense of humour and can laugh at yourself. I would love it and would also be grateful that someone took the time to think of an individual gift for me rather than the usual box of smellies, and I hate having my photo taken too.

My son is 20 and I know him well enough to know that he'd love a caricature, infact he'd have it framed and taking pride of place in the living room! :rotfl:

It would depend on the relationship between your OH and your son. You don't say whether your OH is your son's father or not.

If your son is at all sensitive about some things, it may not be a good idea. Some 20 year olds can be extremely touchy (that goes for boys as well as girls).

If they have a really close relationship - AND your son can take a joke - then it sounds like it would be an great gift.
