CCJ error/ gdpr breech

Hi I'm really hoping someone can give me some advice please. A few years ago I ran up a debt for £950 with Southern Water... it was passed to shulmans / uk search Ltd. They took me to court and I received a CCJ... but the amount was for £650?? I presumed that's all they were enforcing... when I rang shulmans to arrange payment they couldnt find my details as my account had been mixed up with another client it turned out I had been taken to court for the wrong amount. I rang the court who said I was only liable for the £650 as it was shulmans error. I rang shulmans who gave me a new reference number that I hand wrote on my letter with the incorrect details... and they agreed to a payment plan of £25 a month to clear the debt....this was in jan 2019. Last Saturday I received a letter from a company called knights saying they had taken over from shulmans and my SW debt of £950!??? I checked my bank and all my payments had been made so I logged into my online account which I hadn't done before... when I logged in it had someone else's details.. full name.. dob...home address... debt address but my email address!! On Monday I called the debt agent to explain and they agreed there had been a mix up. I emailed them pics of my ccj.. all my payments and their letters. They got back to me apologized for the mix up and said my payments were up to date. I emailed today asking for clarification on what I still owe and why they asked for £950. I was gobsmacked to get a reply saying I owed £950 plus they have now added inerest of almost £200... court fees of almost £150 plus solicitors fees of £70!!!!! I now owe £1370 but they said I had paid £450 and only owed £950odd!?? However they said if I could pay in 30 days they would reduce it to £700!??? I emailed back saying they broke GDPR regulations... and that I had been taken to court for £650 (of which id paid £450) so my understanding is that's what I am liable for. Their response was I have 2 options... option 1 they will contact the courts to have the debt set aside then chase me in court for the £950 plus costs... or option 2 I keep paying the payments now and they will drop the court fees... solicitor fees and interest and I have almost £600 still to pay!?? How can they do this... they cocked up... they got my details mixed up and took me to court for the wrong amount.... I thought a ccj was legally binding. They breached GDPR but me being able to access someone else's details online and other people access mine
Can anyone please advise me what to do
Sorry that was long. Any help is greatly appreciated

They can’t add legal costs twice, and can only charge interest if that’s what the judgement allows.
They have a judgement for the £650, but your full bill is £950, so you still owe that amount, but to satisfy your CCJ all you need pay is the £650.They could take further action for the remainder of the debt.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Sourcrates thankyou so basically I do owe them the other £300. But if I pay the ccg does that mean they would have to take me to court again for that £300?0

Simple answer is yes, Southern Water can take you to court again for the additional sum.
If you check the CCJ you will find out that Schulmans (who have been taken over by Knight) work for Southern Water. The creditor will always be Southern Water. So get onto SW and ask them to provide you with full details of your account. Use a Subject Access Request). You may find that UK Search in the mix as SW tend to pass it over to UKSL who then instruct Knights but SW are always on the paperwork. The only company with the actual paperwork is SW
Utilities are regulated so tend to throw overdue debts to the likes of UK Search as Utilities want to keep costs down and profits up. They are shocking examples of how not to run an organisation. Once you have enough information and you feel a GDPR complaint is in order then complain to the Consumer Council for Water (CCW)
