Halifax DIP?

Hi everyone, thanks to your lovelies replies over the last few days I bit the bullet and today my broker got us a DIP with Halifax.  Halifax ask if you have been made bankrupt in the past six years, we were made bankrupt in 2013 so seven years so we answered no. But now I’m nervous that the bankruptcy will come up at full application and they will decline us? Does anyone have any experience of this?

6 years history is all that will be leagally disclosed to the lender.

It was discharged October 2014. But Halifax ask have you been ‘registered bankrupt in the last six years’? Xx

@Mrh1019 Congratulations on the DIP!

The question was answered the right way as the Halifax guidance below confirms. You only have to answer 'Yes' if registered within last 6 years or one of the other things mentioned below.
