Ideas for school friend pressies

DD has a lot of school friends she wants to buy Xmas pressies for but she won't have much cash at all so we are trying to come up with some ideas.
I am having fun doing hampers for my family and friends and DD is impressed so i suggested perhaps getting a box of chocolates and wrapping a few up nicely in cellophane with a bow/curling ribbon (cos i have lots of this available:D) but she wants to make them a bit more special.
While typing this i've just had an idea she could buy a cheap pretty mug and put choccies in it with some hair scrunchies or a flake bar and wrap them up.
I may have solved my own question:D but anyone else have any ideas please in case shes not impressed
Thanks

I'd go (and have for my daughters friends) with hot choccie wrapped mugs.
The old faithful
.....mug, hot choccie sachet, marshmallows (from cook dept of supermarket wrapped in cellophene), chocolate dipped spoon or flake taken out of wrapping and wraped in clear cellophene to look nicer. Comes to approx £2 depending on what mug.
She could buy plain mugs and decorate them individually to each friend? ..either a drawing that means something if shes really arty or just a quick special message.......i.e. To my best friend, The best mate ever etc...or a jokey message that refers to something they've done together?0 -
Could DD make some presents i.e. bake some Christmas biscuits; I saw a pack of 10 gingerbread men in the garden centre the other day that had been decorated with santa hats, etc., and they were charging £5 a pack!! Outrageous! but easily achieved at home ... hence this is what DS1 and DS2 are giving teachers / support staff / key workers, etc., etc. That's Numberwang!0

When DD1 started secondary school adn wanted to get all 20 girls in her class a present  as she wasn't sure of the etiquette there we made two batches of truffles - one batch cocoa dusted and one batch rolled in vermicelli - and put 3 truffles in cellophone and tied with red and gold or green and gold ribbon. They looked really effective and DD felt she didn't leave anyone out.0

Primark have some lovely mugs (they are boxed too, which makes them look quite an expensive pressie) for only £1 each - I bought a load of them at the weekend for my daughters to give out as Christmas gifts to their friends. I also got a big tin of Celebrations for £4.99 in Tescos, so I'll put a little handful of those in each of them, wrapped in cellophane.
They had two Christmassy picture mugs (a santa, or penguins), and a load of others which said things like "I Love Shopping", "I Love Shoes", "I Love Cats" and "I love Chocolate". They're all really pretty.0 -
For my son's friends I bought a pack of 10 paper cups with a christmas design on for £1 from Poundland, a tin of Celebrations, part of the 2 for £9 so cost me £4.50 for 1 tin (cost me a little less cus of staff discount as hubby works there) and I bought a bag of lollies. I managed to get 10 festive cups out of all of that for about 70p each (not inc wrapping)
