Hi all,
This is my first post so I hope it meets all the rules!!!
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with play to earn like mistplay or playspot? Is it worth it? Which one is best, can you do more than one?
I don't play hours and hours but do sometimes play and if I can earn from it I might as well!
Thanks in advance!!!

Hello. Just wanted to say that I started playspot about a month ago. I've got 14996 points and very eager to find out if it actually works. How are you finding it?

Has mixed reviews and the more recent ones are generally lower - from cuts in the amount you can earn through to failure to payout completely.

Have you found any more apps or sites? What about those streamers on YouTube can this be done via mobile app games too?

I use Mistplay, I've earned enough for £10 but not cashed out yet.  It's taken a couple of months but I play Scrabble in any case so doing so via Mistplay is a bit of extra cash for nothing, if they pay!  Will let you know when I hit £15 as that's when I plan cashing out.

Two years on... Did you ever make it to your goal of £15 on Mistplay? Did you get your payout easily? Have you earned much more since?

I play quite a few games on my mobile to keep my mind active and keep coming across Mistplay ads that give the impression you can make $50 (or equivalent in £s I'm hoping) in a few days, though this probably sucks up most of their days to do so.

Is it worth it for a few quid? 🤔

I have used Mistplay on and off for a while. Got a few gift cards out of it but it can be a fair bit of dedication to keep playing the games. They do often promote a few games with the status Hyper or Fastest - these give XP quite quickly which equal to earning the units on there...which you can then redeem to gift cards

I use Mistplay.  Just about to cash out my second Amazon £10 so yes, if you play games anyway, its worth paying through them.

Being a fan of all things video games, I've thought about doing that but it's not for me. I found it "wrong" to play video games I don't like just to earn like $10 after one or two months... I have a friend who is knee-deep into leveling up characters for MMOs just to sell them later, and at his best, he's been making like $1,000-$1,500 per month... Granted, he revels in that stuff and has no trouble sacrificing sleep :)

So, if I were to game casually, I see no point in limiting my self to games that *can* make me $10 next month. I'd much rather play what I want for 0 cash as long as that isn't an income generator - but as soon as I decide it should be, then it'll be 'go big or go home'

I ended up giving Mistplay a go. I concentrated on games classed as Fasted/Faster/Fast. I would have gone for Hyper but there was nothing I wanted to play.

After a lot of playing 😵‍💫 (the ads I saw were incredibly misleading!) I was getting close to cash in on £15 (you can claim at £5, but the points need work out better value at higher amounts) and then the points required increased. 😤

I decided to slog it out until I could claim £25. I finally managed this today after 140 days and 471 hours of playing (yes I play too much due to being mostly housebound and unable to lead a normal life). 😫 I could have done it sooner if I'd realised some of the games had reach the maximum level of 20, so no longer accrued the crucial PXP.

Now I've claimed my shopping voucher it's time to cut the cord and uninstall Mistplay, so I can do something more productive after a big rest. 😴💤
