Santander Loan Extra Payment

Hi everyone I have a loan with Santander. I have been doing overtime recently and would like to put the extra I have earned towards my Santander loan. I am unsure of how I actually make an extra payment each month? Any advice and help? I’m not wanting the pay the loan off in full but just an extra towards my regularly monthly payments I already pay. I can’t see it on the app or on the web based internet banking (I am a Santander customer) I tried to speak to them on online chat and they can’t deal with queries on loans on there so they gave me the number for loans and after 45 mins I gave up and hung up.
TIA.

Not a Santander customer so this might not be the same but can you see the personal loan in the app?
If you can can you click on it or perhaps there might be three dots on top right to open up the app - might have the facility for making overpayments there?

Was in exactly same boat as you with Santander, wanting to make extra repayments. Much like yourself I couldn't get through to anyone so I simply took the loan account details from the mobile app, sent a test payment of £10.00 and this reduced the balance the next day, plus received a letter some days later confirming my payment.
Since then every over-payment results in reduction of balance, confirmation of payment received letter and new estimated settlement date. Does seem to cause a little issue with their systems this way as have noticed the balance outstanding then seems to change by a few pennies each day but still it's getting me closer to paying it off earlier.

On their website, details on overpayment are on the agreement PDF. Overpayment either results in
    a) smaller repayments or
    b) reduction in term.

Do you use their banking app?

I think you can simply move the money from one account to the other on there.
