Hi
My partner has bad credit and is already on a high interest mortgage with arrears on it. My credit is fine and I have a normal rate mortgage. We are looking to maybe buy somewhere, does anyone know if it is possible to take his income into consideration but for him not to named on the mortgage??

If you want his income included, then he needs to be on the mortgage.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

Yeah Dunstonh is correct to use his income you will have to have him on the mortgage which is going to make the mortgage rate very high or even getting the mortgage in first place. I dont think you could justify using a self cert mortgage either.
