Hi, I had a question as to whether any other users out there had any experiences of buying from Alibaba and selling in the UK or elsewhere. I'm just interested to know what those experiences were like and whether you found the Alibaba platform helpful, specifically if you ended up having any disputes with a supplier. Things I was hoping others may have some experience of are as follows:
1. Any specific experience of using the Alibaba trade assurance program, which should cover you in certain circumstances, so any experiences of that would be helpful, especially if you ended up receiving poor quality / defective goods or goods different to those you thought you were buying i.e. did you get your money back, was Alibaba helpful, any advice for people new to the process?
2. Any experience of paying with a credit card and whether that gave you additional protection (under the S75 provisions) would also be really helpful too. Did you have to seek help from your credit card company and did they cover you under S75. According to the MSE website, there may be instances where you are not covered by S75 when you are buying through an online platform so does this apply to Alibaba?
