Mortgage with foreign currency

Hi, I am new to this forum and I would really appreciate any advice from mortgage gurus! 

I am based in Northern Ireland so it can be quite difficult to find advice online as most websites refer to mainland UK. 

I have found a property I am interested in and will be needing to secure a mortgage. My problem is that I currently work in Ireland and I am paid in Euros. 

I was wondering if anyone has any advice or has had any experience with securing a mortgage in Northern Ireland when they are paid in Euros?

I would suggest that you find a mortgage broker in NI to look at this for you. 

A number of mainstream lenders will lend on euro income on the mainland but I don’t know if anything is different in NI.

Thank you. I am in touch with a mortgage broker at the minute but it’s early in the process and he was saying it may be in issue so just thought I’d try here to see if anyone from NI had any experience of this. Possibly someone might know of a lender that my broker may not deal with. 

I’ll update this thread in the future if I get anywhere with it.
