Mortgage application post furlough

Hi,
I was due to move into my house in just under 2 weeks but covid happened and my fiancé was put on furlough so our mortgage was put on hold. He has received his start date as the 20th July and his company have written a letter stating that he will be back to work on this date and returning to an annual salary of £££. We have forwarded this onto our mortgage advisor who is going to update the mortgage company. Do you think this will be enough to submit and complete our application or will they require a full payslip post furlough again?

Hi we were in the same position, partner was furloughed for 2 months and went back the beginning of this month. Virgin wanted a full payslip without furlough on it so we had to wait a while. Last payslip was submitted yesterday so the wait continues, but was told we should hear in 2-3 days.1

UPDATE! Well it has been a great day, we got our contracts through from the solicitor then a call from the broker about an hour ago to tell us we have been offered our mortgage!! I hope this gives someone a bit of hope who has just came back from furlough and applied to a lender who is known for being picky! 😀😀😀😀😀0
