Moving Out Of Area - Causing Issues

Our Broker has said the mortgage companies have an issue with regards to my job as we are moving away. They want 3mths wage slips from a job in the new area. Bearing in mind, I am moving 80miles away so can't stay with my current employer. Our home is a new build & won't be ready till the end of the year. Has any one else had similar issues?

They've got a point, haven't they? If you're not staying with your current employer, how are you going to pay your mortgage?

My Husband's income alone would pay the mortgage, we have savings, investments. I don't know why my job is such an issue as we've never defaulted on a mortgage in 25yrs it was just an added income. I'm an Estate Agent & going for a job interview in New Builds once I move (with the company we are buying the house thru).0

If it is affordable without your income then just put down yourself as not working and base on husband salary only. If your income is needed you will need a new job offer in writing before and lender will consider your income2
