E: 30/07 win an art hamper worth over £245 (effort)
To celebrate our special illustrated issue of Waitrose & Partners Food and its bespoke cover art by bestselling author and illustrator Charlie Mackesy, we’d like you to create your own illustrated cover.
Our favourite entry will win an art hamper containing beautiful pens, pencils, brushes and ink courtesy of Manuscript Pen Company, worth more than £245. The prize includes everything the keen illustrator and calligrapher could need: a lettering kit with fountain pens, nibs, markers and assorted inks; A5 practice pad and italic calligraphy guideline set; a set of 72 coloured pencils; chameleon pens for seamless shading; plus the perfect tools to help you create beautiful lettering and artwork from fine-detailed sketching to broad brush work. Endless creative possibilities await!
The winner will also receive a limited-edition Waitrose & Partners Food tote bag, with artwork by Owen Gatley. We’ll choose 99 runners-up, who will also receive a tote bag, and a selection of the best covers will be published on the Food app.
TO ENTER THIS COMPETITION, SIMPLY FOLLOW THESE STEPS
1. Download a PDF of the Food cover template.
2. Print it off and get creative! If you need to refresh your art supplies, there’s a good selection available at johnlewis.com, where you can order online and Click & Collect from your local Waitrose & Partners store.
3. Email a scan or photograph of your finished cover to waitrosefood@waitrose.co.uk using ‘Food Cover’ as your subject line.
