My broker has mentioned this firm as being a possibility. Does anyone know them or, better still, have experience of them?

Yes and yes. They are part of the Yorkshire Building Society Group and are ok. They have some handy criteria and can have some good deals. From our experiance do not expect an A class service, from memory they are a little slow but I believe they have a newish online system. If you have a good broker who keeps on top of things I am sure you will be fine.

Yep - used them several times
Seem ok. On-line systme is fine. They are happy to accept faxes of any paperwork needed, so quicker than having to rely on the post.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Herbiesjp,
I tend to scan and email everything to Accord, and copy in my BDM.
Generally speaking a very reliable lender, though some of their staff can start asking for daft things and you need to go over their heads sometimes. The only caveat I would have is that they are not great for Self Cert.0 -
I'm with Accord Mortgages (have been for two years now, on a five year fix rate) and its been a breeze. My broker handled all the paperwork, and I've never had any problems adjusting my overpayments or asking for a payment holiday.0

Great minds think alike - i do that as well
I only mentioned the fax scenario, to get across the idea that one is not reliant on the post with Accord - which can be a real plus!I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
