Anyone heard of these companies?

Options
I need legal help that I can’t get legal aid for and need to go through the family court to get a financial order that was never done during a divorce.

im looking at companies that finance legal costs.  One is called Legal Cost Finance

the other is absolute barrister

when I try calling them it’s an answer phone service.

has anyone heard of these companies, good or bad? Or have anyone else to recommend?

thanks

    How much do you require?
Would  a personal loan from your local bank not do?

Sorry I know I'm not answering your question - I have no knowledge of the companies you mention.

Can you afford to repay these guys if you use their credit facility?

  • Thanks both,

Yes I can afford to repay.

My credit is only medium at the moment so I’m not sure I can get a loan the normal way.  These guys have a year at 0% APR. I’m not sure what it is after I’m in the process of finding out.

    Basically they are a broker.

"Absolute barrister" does not appear on the FCA register, under that name at least.
    Maybe one to avoid.
