Foster Carers Pension

I was a foster carer for several years and believe may be able to
have those years added my pensionable contributions. When I worked I only paid the 'married
womans stamp' as that is what the tax office advised (in 1965) saying would receive my pension based on my husbands contributions. I receive 60% of basic pension. Can anyone confirm this please?

It looks like foster carer credits are only available for post 2003 caring and paying the small stamp may disqualify you from that. https://www.gov.uk/national-insurance-credits/eligibility
