Getting a mortgage during coronavirus

Hiya
I’m wondering if anyone can help me. Me and my partner are first time buyers and have been trying to get a house for a while as I am pregnant and now due in just 3 weeks. I own a beauty salon and have been told that because the business has had to close due to coronavirus, they won’t take any of my income into consideration until the business is open again. We have tried to get one from my partners wage alone, but what they are willing to lend with just one income is a lot less so we have been holding on but with recent news the beauty salons still can not open, Im starting to get very fed up and deflated with it all. We don’t want to rent as we have worked so hard to get a big deposit and don’t want to loose it by renting so are currently living with my parents and brothers. Is there anything I can do or anyone that would except my income aswell?

Have you spoken to a Mortgage Advisor/Broker?
They might be able to give you some more information about the current market and lenders that may be open to your current circumstances?
I sympathise that your feeling deflated with your situation, it’s not an easy one to be put in but it won’t be like this forever... stay motivated, you’ve got a baby on the way! 🥰
It might be worth waiting a few months to see what happens with the coronavirus situation and might put you in a stronger position?0 -
Maybe scale back expectations of you are determined to buy now, which will not see you in your own home by the time you have your baby.
Look at what you can afford on your OHs salary, look at a flat instead of a house, look at areas further away as they may be cheaper.
Alternatively, wait until you have had your baby, you are back in work and have two incomes again.
