Online TEFL advice

How much can you expect to earn giving online lessons as a side hustle? Also can anyone recommend an online course to do or are they all pretty much the same unless you want to do class room teaching? The idea is to do a 120 hour course and hopefully do some conversational lessons whilst I have all this free time!

Hi! I teach for Palfish (and have done for about 2 years), but I've also worked for VIPKids (I think that was the company... it was a while ago) and BoxFish. I have a Trinity College London certificate, but any one will do (for Palfish and other Chinese companies at least - I think you also need a degree, but I'm not sure about that point) - the only important thing is that the certificate has an individual certificate number on it that you can give as proof you've done your course. As for money, I work about 25 hours a week and make £1,400 a month (it's my main income) - I do have to work 7 days a week for that because of the time difference and also I have ten years experience as a teacher, and I've been on Palfish since the early days. I think it's gotten harder to build up a regular schedule of students, but you don't need to worry about that so much if you're just hoping to make some extra cash.

PS. I you do join Palfish, if you could use my code that would be awesome - I get a $30 commission :)  oJsp4z
