TWO pairs of sunglasses from £22

I've tried various different combinations, but can't get this to work. Code does give discount, but can't manage to get 2 pairs of sunglasses for £22.
Any advice?

Have you done ALL of the below?:

    Here's what to do:

    1. 2for1 on glasses £49 or over. Glasses Direct has a range of frames priced from £49, which are currently on a 2for1 offer, so you get the cheapest free. Throughout the process Glasses Direct will try to upsell you to higher quality frames, lenses, and different options (such as varifocal) etc. See 'More info' below on how to get them absolute cheapest.

    2. Choose tinted lenses to get sunglasses. To choose sunglasses, when it comes to picking your lens type, you'll need to select 'sunglasses' and then 'dark tints'. It may say that it costs £10 extra for sunglasses lenses, but this will be reduced to free once you've entered the code at checkout.

If you don't want prescription lenses, you can select 'PLANO' as your prescription for each eye.

    3. Code gets £27 off, free tinted lenses & free delivery. After adding the second pair to your basket, you can either enter your prescription or opt to send it later. Use the code MSE22JUNE at checkout by 11.59pm on Mon 29 Jun to get an extra £27 off ANY glasses where the frames cost £49+ (before 2for1 discount), free tinted lenses and free delivery.

Combining these offers can get you two pairs of glasses for just £22 delivered. What's more, the second pair doesn't have to be the same prescription as the first, so you could get one for yourself and one for someone else. This deal won't work on very strong prescriptions – see 'More info' below.

I think so. Are these the same instructions as on the website?

I've tried all sorts of different combinations of prices for the two pairs of sunglasses, following the instructions, but the lowest cost comes to £42 ????

    Yep, that's it. Brilliant, thanks.
  • Anyone else having a problem with glasses direct? I placed 2 orders on Friday - the first went through OK. The second went through but this morning the items have appeared back in my basket, customer service is closed until Wednesday and it's not honouring the 30ALL discount code. I'm very concerned and suspicious with no customer service being available until Wednesday. Anyone else had a similar problem with them?

Usually there customer service is great. I am sure they will sort it out for you on Wednesday. Just noticed though they are answering DM's on Facebook.

They have explained it very well:
Recently, we have been making extra efforts due to Covid-19 – such as following distancing measures and a thorough disinfecting routine - as well as dealing with a higher-than-usual demand. We also moved to a new customer service platform on 1st June which, unfortunately, has had some teething issues that have since been mostly resolved. As a result of all this, we have not been able to answer some emails and phone calls as quickly as we would have liked to in the last couple of weeks.
In order to catch up with our backlog of emails, we will be temporarily closing our phone lines from 4 pm on Friday 26th June through to 9 am on Wednesday 1st July.
We are very sorry and are working hard to get back to our usual high standard of timeliness and availability. Please bear with us.
