Housesitting. Has anyone tried it? Is it worth it?

    Yes.
    If im in London for a few days i'll check for any house sitting jobs and also done it while abroad, sometimes for a place to tay while sight-seeing sometimes just for a nice remote house with good hiking/mountain biking near by.
    Can be a bit nerve racking at first, being responsible for someone elses pets! Avoid any old cats or dogs!

    Not a way to "boost your income" though, I could count on one hand the amount of times the owners gave me a bit extra, but thats not why you do it.
