The potatoes have been part/hard boiled whatever the saying is!

And the oven is in the kitchen next to the cupboard with the ketchup in. :)

roast potatoes take about 40 mins to an hour depending how you like 'em but I would say that the chicken piece would be done way before that - it depends on the weight and cut really f

or a whole chicken its about 40 mins per kilo plus about half an hour IIRC

I'm not sure what sort of piece it is! How bad is that? :o

I think it's a breast but with either a foot or a wing attached to it?

    lol thats made me chuckle

I would say you've got a supreme which is the wing and breast (at least I think thats what its called!)

so if we says its quarter of a medium chicken its likely to be about 300 - 500g so I reckon if you leave everything in for an hour it should be ok - but keep checking after about 45 mins to check its not burning

the way to check if its cooked is when you stick a knife or skewer into a thick bit and press to see the juices run out. if they run out clear then you are ok - if they are cloudy or bloody then its not done. also the meat should not be pink it should be white (or yellowy if corn fed).

jeebers I hope you dont end up with food poisioning after my instructions!

make sure you post tomorrow so I know you are alive ;)
