Hi im looking at investing in property but my husband was put on to his ex girlfriend mortgage 17 years ago, does that mean he is not a first time buyer? He didn't benefit from stamp duty reduction as the house was already owned by his ex and he was added when she remortgaged

Unfortunately he will not be classed as a first time buyer as he has previously owned a property.1

as mentioned previously on here, losing your FTB is like losing your virginity, you can never get it back"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
